ON OCTOBER 9, 2020, JOHN WOULD HAVE BEEN 80 YEARS OLD
The production started out as a live concert in a venue, but had to be changed to a streaming event because
of Covid restrictions. Strange days, indeed. However, due to legal complications with music rights globally,
the concert aspect of the event had to be replaced, and now the broadcast has morphed into a
completely different presentation. The stream will consist of exclusive messages of birthday
wishes to John from Beatles relatives, Beatles friends, Rock Stars and other Celebrities and
Pop-Culture Notables from around the globe (or should we say ”across the universe.”).
Without giving away all the surprises, some of the Special Guests contributing their
messages include John Lennon’s sister Julia, Bob Gruen, Marshall Crenshaw, Tony Bramwell,
Angie & Ruth McCartney, Steve Holley, Laurence Juber, Apple Recording Artist Brute Force,
Tommy Roe, Gregg Bissonette, Jenny Boyd, Gary Puckett, Tommy James, Mary Wilson, Billy J. Kramer,
Mark Hudson and many more. You will be surprised by some of the contributing artists.
We realize most of you who already bought tickets were looking forward to the live concert as much as we were.
We sincerely apologize, but this is beyond our control. Please know that your ticket purchase has funded the
production, which will now be viewable to everyone on YouTube at 7pm EDT on October 9th.
Search “Remember Lennon Imagine 80” on YouTube where it will be posted. The upside is that more fans from more
places will get to enjoy this very special happening. If anyone still wishes to request a refund, or for their
purchase to be donated to a good cause (we have designated The Cynthia Lennon Scholarship for Girls,
Julian Lennon’s preferred charity) kindly email a notation to LiverpoolTours@aol.com before October 8th at midnight.
We will not be able to issue any refunds after that.
Thank you very much for your understanding.
Visit www.LiverpoolTours.com and come on a Magical History Tour with us.
We love you John.
